February 2026 Update
Posted 6 days ago by Christen Standiford
Hello APRNCG Members!
Happy February! We hope you weathered the wintery weather well and weren't too affected by the snow!
Legislative session is in process - please follow the United APRNs of Georgia website for details and opportunities to help with calls to action.
Tuesday, February 24, is NP Day for APRNs at the Capitol in Atlanta. The APRNCG is honored to sponsor a luncheon for participants and legislative members prior to this event in gratitude for the hard work that is done day in and day out on behalf of Georgians and advanced practice registered nurses in Georgia.
If you would like to attend this event, please let us know and RSVP through UAPRN's website.

UPCOMING EVENTS:
The Executive Council is also excited to announce a dinner meeting planned for Thursday, March 12, at 6:30pm.
The topic for the meeting will be Exploring Anhedonia in Major Depressive Disorder. You may RSVP for the event here.
The sponsors requires RSVP's to be received by Thursday, March 5, 2026. For now please just RSVP through the website and if the sponsor requests their own RSVP process we will let attendees know! Registration for the event will be limited to active APRNCG members for the first 72 hours, then will be opened up to guests.
APRNCG will host our annual event "APRN Insights: Wisdom From the Field" in either April or May. This yearly online event is aimed at newly graduated APRNs and new to Georgia APRNs to help navigate the complex process and paperwork that comes along with the RN to APRN transition.
APRNCG will also host our annual "Friends and Family" event in either May or June with a plan for a celebration for Nurses Week 2026 - more to come!
See you soon!
