May Update: rescheduled May 8 event to June 12 + need APRN volunteers for online event on May 20

Hello APRNCCG Members and Guests!

Despite our best efforts to accommodate a last minute change by our previous May dinner meeting sponsor, we are so sorry to say that while we have tried so hard to make an event this week on Thursday work, between busy work and life schedules and the short notice change with the sponsor the Executive Council thinks it is best to just pause, and reset rather than rush to our favorite event of the year.

With that being said, we are going to reschedule our 2nd Annual Friends and Family Event to next month, Thursday, June 12 to better accommodate everyone! I have updated the events calendar to reflect this change. You can RSVP Here!

We were planning to give out our summer member gifts and raffle gifts (which we have been working on for you for months and are so excited about!), and decided that while we'll hold on to the raffle gifts for the June meeting for those members who just can't wait to kick off summer - well, do we have a great surprise for you!

For all of our active members, we are delighted to have for you a mesh tote for the beach or the pool and your choice of an APRN trucker hat or visor! We will bring these gifts for our F&F event next month, but if you'd like to get your gift before then please just let me know so we can arrange local pick up or ship to you!

We are still hosting our 2nd annual APRN Insights: Wisdom from the Field online event on Tuesday, May 20, from 7-8pm. The first half of the event will be a structured review of new APRN basics like protocol agreements, DEA / NPI numbers, etc, and the second half will be an open session for our expert panelists to answer questions from our guests. This event is aimed at new graduate APRNs and new to the area APRNs and you can RSVP here!

We have a lot of guests signed up for this event, which we are so excited about! We do still need a few volunteer APRNs to serve as expert panelists - if you are interested and available, please reach out to us!
