May 2025 Events + Update!

Hello APRNCG members!

We had a bit of a short notice scheduling change for our May dinner meeting, but things have worked out better than planned and the Executive Council is very excited to be hosting two events in May that we would like to share with you! 

On Thursday, May 8, from 6-7:30pm, we will be holding our 2nd Annual Friends and Family Event at Starland Yard in Savannah. This is a casual, drop-in event where we can come together as a group to celebrate Nurses Week and give back to our members and their families and friends. All are welcome to come and meet our executive council and our members, and learn more about what our group is all about!  Please RSVP for the Friends and Family Event.

APRNCG will again be sponsoring the food portion of this meeting for attendees. We do ask for members and guests to RSVP through our website so we have a general headcount for the event. Active members of the group will be receiving an exciting summer gift and all guests will be entered into a raffle for one of three great prizes. It was a lot of fun last year, and we’d love to see you there!

On Tuesday, May 20, from 7-8pm, we will be hosting an online event entitled APRN Insights: Wisdom from the Field. This is an ongoing series of educational events that we offer throughout the year, and this particular event is aimed at the new graduate APRN. We’ve all been a new grad APRN and understand the struggle of navigating the complexities of practicing as an APRN / NP, especially in a restrictive practice state such as Georgia,.

We are here to help! The first half of this event will be structured and a review of APRN protocols, NPI numbers, DEA numbers and things of that nature, with the second half of the event open to participants to directly speak and ask questions of our expert APRN panelists.  RSVP Here for the APRN Insights: Wisdom from the Field Event.
