Hello APRNCCG Members with a special welcome to our new members! We are so glad you have decided to join our group, and can't wait to meet you in person - please don't hesitate to reach out at any time!

Hi everyone!

Please accept my apology for the delay in getting this announcement out. I am in the final stages of completing my DNP through Georgia Southern, and life is a bit busy right now - May 2025 is almost here! Between now and then, please give me a bit of grace if I am slow to respond or get these announcements out / minutes updated while I focus on completing my final project. :) I can't wait to share it with you!

We had a wonderful casual get together last month for our January meeting at Shuk - we had an excellent turnout and great conversations with brainstorming about our 2025 plans.

For our upcoming meetings, Analicia has been working hard with our sponsors and we have details to share with you.

While we don't have a sponsor for our February meeting, we have meetings planned for the next few months:

We will:

  • Not have a February meeting as we don't have a sponsor and the APRNCCG sponsored the January meeting
  • Will be reaching out to our colleagues at the UAPRN to see how we can help support them during legislative session - you may periodically see blast communications come across about this
  • We are going to hold on the planned in person GSU "Advice for the New Grad APRN" meeting for our soon to be graduated APRN peers! We instead will be offering a webinar with a panel discussion - more to come!
  • We are going to hold on our planned May nurses week get together at Starland Yard as we have a sponsor who really wanted that date. We will instead move our get together to some time over the summer at Starland Yard.
  • We are super excited about our member gift for Nurses Week - more to come!
  • We have several members interested in serving our community in a variety of ways:
Thank you as always for your support of APRNs in our area - see you soon!
