September 2024 Update + Upcoming Events

Hello APRNCCG Members!

Thank you so much to the members and guests who attended our recent dinner meeting at Local 11Ten! The event was hosted by Amgen with representative Mary Pat Fischer and Laura Elledge, nurse practitioner, as the speaker. Mary Pat and Laura were just a delight to meet and hear from. Laura spoke about "Changing the Course of Uncontrolled Gout" with the infusion Krystexxa. We learned that Dr. Eskandar and Dr. Demicco are the local gout specialists who manage and order this medication. 

We announced new executive council member Lisa Miller, FNP-BC, who will be taking over as Kimberly Wilke, PMHNP, transitions to her new home in Michigan. 

The next several months of meetings have been largely set and planned and an RSVP has been made.

    • This is a non-CEU dinner meeting, sponsored by the APRNCCG

      • Introduction to Pulmonary Function Tests + Overview of Stepwise Approach to Patient Management
      • HIV Prevention Medication – PrEP
      • 2024 Annual Members Survey Results
