July 2024 Update + August Dinner Meeting RSVP

Hello APRNCCG Members!

I hope your summer is going well - there has been a lot going on in the background with the Executive Council these last few weeks!

Upcoming dinner meetings and events (subject to change): 

*August 8, 2024 - rep sponsored dinner meeting at Ruth's Chris - Please RSVP here!

*September 12, 2024 -  rep sponsored meeting has been confirmed, details TBA but we think this will be at Vic's on the River

*October 10, 2024 /  November 14, 2024 - TBA - we are anticipating these meetings will be either two separate meetings, or combined APRNCCG sponsored 2nd Annual APRN Practice Update meeting at GSU - Armstrong Campus + Holiday send off! 

*Annual Members Survey - If you haven't completed our yearly survey, please take a few minutes and do so here! We look forward to sharing these results with you at our upcoming Practice Update meeting!

*Call for Speakers - It is almost time for our 2nd Annual APRN Practice Update! We had such a great experience hearing from our expert members on topics of interest last year and are so excited to be able to offer this event again.

We are looking for speakers for this meeting (anticipate this will be either the October or November meeting). If you are interested in presenting, please reach out to Christen! This is a non-CE event, which allows for flexibility in presentation style and topics for the speakers with each speaker presenting for about 15 minutes. We will offer this meeting via Zoom as well for our members who aren't able to attend in person.

*Call for Executive Council Member - Treasurer - we are very excited to announce that Executive Council member Kimberly Wilke is anticipating a move to Michigan in Spring 2025! We are asking for volunteers / nominees to fill this role. The general duties include leading on treasurer responsibilities, banking, financials, and tax documentation. We'd like to fill this role prior to 2025 so that Kim is able to help the new  EC member with the tax work that is to be done at the beginning of the year. 

If you are interested in this position, please reach out to Christen. You will be a member of the Executive Council, working alongside Analicia and Christen, and leading on treasurer-type responsibilities.

*Job Opportunities - (1) Nephrology NP position in Beaufort, SC; (2) Titan Injury Centers - part time position with potential to become full time, can begin immediately. Orthopedic / neurology experience preferred. Travel between remote clinics in Savannah / Garden City / Brunswick / Hinesville.
