2024 Annual Survey + July Update

Hello APRNCCG Members!

I hope you are having a wonderful summer!

Just a quick update to give you an idea of the Executive Council's plan for meetings through the end of the year:

*August 2024 - rep sponsored meeting, details TBA.

*September 2024 -  rep sponsored meeting, details TBA 

*October meeting: APRNCCG sponsored 2nd Annual APRN Practice Update meeting at GSU - Armstrong Campus. 

This was one of our favorite events for 2023! For this meeting, members of the APRNCCG will present on a topic of interest to the group in person and online. While we can't offer CME for this experience (adding CME was cost-prohibitively expensive), the round table discussions we had with our expert NPs were just fantastic. Last year topics included women's health, menopause, AI, and transplant basics!

If you are interested in speaking, please reach out to Christen! The typical presentation length is about 15 minutes or so with some sort of handout or powerpoint to speak from and share with the members. This is a very casual speaker engagement opportunity with lots of flexibility to do whatever you want! 

*November meeting: We will try to have this meeting also act as a holiday send off until 2025!

It is also time for our annual survey! 

This is a great way to ensure that APRNs in the region are in alignment with national standards in terms of compensation, practice environment, and productivity, as well as a way to gage interest from the group as to what the APRNCCG Executive Council should focus on in terms of goals, etc. Last year's survey results were presented to the group and were very interesting! We look forward to comparing the results year after year locally and with the national findings from the AANP Annual survey.
