Hello APRNCCG Members!

We held our most recent dinner meeting last week, October 12, 2023 at the Chart House in Savannah. The meeting was sponsored by Alexion Medical Affairs with speaker Barbara Mungin on the topic Neuromyelitis Optical Spectrum Disorder, a truly wonderful speaker with a very relevant topic who we want to extend a special thank you for her time and support of our group.

We had a great group of members and guests who attended the meeting. Thank you so much to our members for your continued support and thank you to our guests who took the time to attend, and learn more about our group!

After the dinner portion of the meeting was completed, we held the business portion of the meeting. We did broadcast this via Zoom for members who were unable to attend the meeting in person and this seemed to go really well. We will certainly continue to offer this to our members with each meeting.

We understand it is hard to come to each meeting, and want to have our members be able to participate however works best for them - in person, via Zoom, or by reviewing the minutes and contacting the Executive Council.

We have had several members volunteer to help with subcommittee - education / CME investigation, social media engagement, community outreach, and faculty support. This is truly exciting as this will help our group move forward with many of our goals - thank you again, everyone!

Our next meeting has been confirmed and an event with the ability to RSVP has been added to the website (November 2023 Dinner Meeting RSVP):

  • November 16, 2023 Meeting
    • Speaker: Luis Polo, FNP
    • Topic: Lokelma – Treatment for Hyperkalemia
    • Location: Cohen’s Retreat in Savannah

As always - thank you so much for your support! We have had an incredible year of growth thanks to you and your time and efforts, and we truly appreciate all of you. We are so excited to finish out 2023 with a presentation by a local NP during NP and can't wait to see what 2024 brings!

Please feel free to reach out to your Executive Council any time - see you soon!

~Christen
