May 2023 Update - Minutes, and Meetings, and More!

Good afternoon and happy Friday APRNCCG Members!

The Executive Council has been busy working in the background these last few weeks since our April meeting. Kim has submitted the necessary paperwork for our tax documentation and Analicia has been working on our June meeting in addition to trying to network for other meetings later this year. Please see the attached minutes for complete details as to what we have been up to as well as minutes from the April dinner meeting!

We are struggling to find pharmaceutical reps for sponsored dinner meetings. As I am sure many of you have noted, each year there seems to be more and more restrictions on these types of meetings. We are always open to setting these types of meetings up - please send any interested reps information to Analicia! But truly we need to begin to move forward with planning meetings around that. 

With that in mind, we are very excited about our next meeting! This will be held Thursday, June 15 at GSU - Armstrong campus. The dinner portion will be sponsored by the APRNCCG. We will have several special guests, including Dr. Whitney Nash the incoming new Dean of the Waters College of Health Professions and Adult Nurse Practitioner, a representative for the UAPRN, and Julie Anne Moser, leader of the new Georgia Nurse Honor Guard - Savannah Chapter. 

We will absolutely be able to accomodate any last minute attendees, but please go ahead and RSVP if you can so we can have an idea of how much food we will need!
