September Meeting

Hello APRNCG members!

For our September meeting, it's the meeting we have been all talking about since our June meeting - Hot Topics in Healthcare - Member Presentations! You may recall during our June meeting many members voiced how much they enjoyed this more casual get together, and wanted to continue this meeting style lead by the group and our members. This would be an excellent opportunity to bring a NP friend so they can learn more about what our group is about in a more relaxed setting.

Planned topics include: opioids, PI, post-covid fibrosis, and postmenopausal management. Can those members who asked to present please reach out to me so we can coordinate? 

This meeting will be hosted by the Waters College of Health Professions at Georgia Southern University - Armstrong Campus and sponsored by the APRNCG. A special thank you to Dr. Kat Trembly for setting this up!

Please see the below directions and the attached map for parking. We do plan to have a Zoom link again for those members who wish to call in and will send that link out closer to the date. 

The planned dinner will be catering from Moe's Southwest Grill. If you have any dietary considerations or allergies, please let us know!

We will be presenting the final draft of our new logo (see attached). If you have thoughts and can't make it to the meeting, please reach out!

We also will begin taking down the names for our NP week raffle - the winner will be announced at the November meeting or in November in case our plans for the November meeting fall through. Inclusion criteria: Any member or guest who attends the APRNCCG meeting for September / October / November will be eligible for the November drawing!

Health Professions Academic Building - Rm 160

11935 Abercorn St, Savannah, GA 31419

Take Abercorn St --> Turn onto Science Drive --> Take an immediate right onto University Drive past the Faculty parking lot to Student parking lot (you do not need a sticker for this event). 

There are several easy quick walking paths to the building (highlighted peach in the picture) and the building came up easily on Google Maps if you need directions.

 A member of the APRNCCG will be visible from the street in a white coat to help guide you to the right place!
